Books that have the dual character perspectives either grab me right away or I bail. This author has done it right! I WANT to know what happens next and love the voices of the characters already. We get a peek at a barley interaction between the two 16 years prior, then an aborted interaction in present day at the beginning of the story. I like how the potentially benign interactions can also be life changing. Definitely watching for the release of this one.
