I'm extremely picky when it comes to chic lit. I don't read that much of it, when it does come up I usually make sure that the story is something that suckers me in.
While the writing is good, and there appears to be a voice or two from the characters - I don't find myself interested. Probably because I've seen this before in a similar story or trope. Not one that particularly calls to me.
Again, those who enjoy chic lit would enjoy this.
