First things first: this is a novel by the author of Love Lettering. Nearly everyone seems to be bonkers over that book but not me. This book started fine and I certainly would be down to read the rest. But the set up is nearly as bizarre as LL so I’m not sure I would recommend others take the plunge on this one. Then again, I may be impervious to this author’s magic.
