I don't read a lot of romance novels or rom com type novels in general, but I enjoyed the opening of this one well enough. Would I personally go out and buy it? No. But I might check it out from the library. I found the characters to be charming and quirky, and I think the author set up some unanswered questions right out of the gate that would make this book compelling to read.
