I love a good mystery novel, and this one kept me turning the page. The story is from the perspective of many people in a small town after a teenage girl is murdered. Everyone is keeping secrets, and the detectives have to dig deep to find the truth. I enjoyed the mystery and the different perspectives. I wish the cast was smaller to help me get to know them better, and I don't think the cover captures the mystery element of the story as well as it could (the cover makes it seem like a story about a divorcee on a journey of self-discovery).

I would recommend this book to mystery lovers, including fans of "One of Us is Lying" and "Good Girl's Guide to Murder." It's a wonderful murder mystery that will take you by surprise. I would recommend reading carefully to understand the characters better than I did. I hope you give "Locust Lane" a read before judging it by the cover.
