This is the first book I've read by this author, Stephen Amidon. I don't think I have the urge to read another. This book had an interesting synopsis but ultimately was very slow and boring and I'm not sure it was worth the read. I was also disturbed from the get-go because a dog is hurt literally in the first sentence in the prologue. There were also so many different point of views between the parents. I also wish this book had came with some trigger warnings. This book takes place in a town in Massachusetts after a girl is found dead. Three teenagers are suspects and seem to each have played a role in her death. I just really wasn't that impressed, this was not really a thriller I enjoyed reading and the ending didn't leave me satisfied. I think I'd have liked this book better if it had been just from the perspective of the teenagers involved.
