Locus Lane is a fantastic thriller with a crazy intro that will really grab you. It is told from the point of view of several people and I really enjoy that format, it makes things move smoothly and gives us readers a chance to see things from different perspectives. So the story is about a girl who is found murdered in Emerson, MA. The suburban area has a low crime rate so people are justifiably shocked. The victim was taking care of an elderly couple after taking a break from her relationship with her mother. The last three people to see Eden alive were three teenagers she had been partying with. The twists and turns are really solid and should keep you guessing until the last third of the book. As others have said, this is really a slow burn with an incredible character-driven plot. I enjoyed the whole book but especially the writing style, it really worked for me.
