I will say that Locust Lane has some good parts. The story is about a murder of a twenty year old girl. Three teenagers were with her the night she died. So when I picked this book up I thought it would be from the teenagers point of view. However there is very little of that. It is more from the parents point of view. The book also talks a lot about the parents back stories and I think it was a little too much. I would have liked to know more about the teenagers and their relationship with the murdered girl. The book touched on that but not enough. I felt the book was more about the parents lives and the murder was just footnote. It was interesting how all the parents lives intertwined. With that being said I did enjoy the book. I guess I just was expecting something else. I would recommend this book to people but explain the path the story takes. I think it is worth the read.
