Admittedly this book was tough for me at the start. I was struggling with the format and the very long chapters but I was so worth it. The world building and character development within this book was fantastic. You are able to see how peoples live intertwine and get multiple perspectives rather than just a single point of view. I was also struggling with the book being in third person. I typically quite prefer first person pov but I was still able to get a feel for what the characters were thinking and feeling even in third person. AND THAT TWIST! I was getting concerned when I felt like there wasn’t much left of the book and still had so many questions but they managed to wrap it up very nicely. I’m not sure if the epilogue was completely necessary. I felt the end of the final chapter was a solid gut punch to close out on but I can also see why the author added the epilogue.
