Emerson, Massachusetts, on the surface, is just like any other affluent New England suburb. However, the neighbors powerfully close ranks to keep their families safe after a young woman is found dead in the nicest part of town.

The death of Eden Perry begins an investigation into the three teens, each a suspect, who were with her the night of her death. Hannah, the sweet girl with a shaky history. Jack, the popular kid with a bit of a mean streak. And Christopher, the outsider who is desperate to just fit in. Their parents only complicate things with their own motivations and will do anything do protect their kids, even at the expense of others.

The writing is so fantastic that I could not put it down. There was suspense woven through the whole book that will keep you reading on the edge of your seat. I think the ending could have been better but it was an overall good read.
