Locust Lane by Stephen Amidon was a top-notch thriller.
The prologue really blew me away and I was immediately ready for more.
This was a slow burn building suspense filled with tension.
I really enjoyed the multiple point of views which kept me guessing which characters were reliable and which were not. It was great to read the different perspectives.
The murder was set in a affluent neighborhood with teenager characters that really added a great dimension to the characters. The characters were well developed, complicated, and well fleshed out.
The end really got me thinking, and I have to say that I was not the biggest fan of the ending. It doesn't necessarily have to be tied up in a neat bow, but this ending definitely left many things open with the ability of multiple outcomes.
