I can hardly wait to read the rest of LOCUST LANE. And, even though the cover is attractive and didn’t turn me off to the book the way some covers can, I don’t think that had anything to do with my reaction. The writing is superb; it had me hooked from the second paragraph. Warning, though: this book has lots of characters, so lots of names to remember. I’ll take care of that with a highlighter pen. Highlighting each name the first time it appears is a great memory aid. ( Of course, don’t do this if you borrow the book from the library.) Lots of characters can make for lots of twists and turns; so this promises to be the best kind of mystery/thriller.
