Told from multiple perspectives, the reader quickly learns that the seemingly quiet, perfectly suburban, affluent community harbors all kinds of secrets. I appreciate that the characters clearly have shortcomings and faults, making them real, even as they live seemingly routine and normal lives. In this first impression, we're getting to know the characters just in the moments before everything will start falling apart (or perhaps come together). This is certainly a suspenseful start and I'm interested to see where this goes.
