This cover screams Fall! I love the single car, headlights shining bright. It feels ominous & like it's foreshadowing something creepy to come.
Admittedly, I am an animal lover so to see a car accident within the first few words of Locust Lane that invoices a dog I was hesitant to continue. Alas, I did.
Multiple point of views are my favorite & a New England setting is also a bonus. This book feels so well written and I love the picture that the author painted for us. This book is definitely in my wheelhouse and I am anxious to continue this story.
