I love the cover of LOCUST LANE. It feels like it will be a perfect autumn read. The first line of the prologue had me worried about what's to come. Animal injury or death always upsets me so I was nervous to continue on. I did like the writing overall and how the perspective shifts between multiple characters. The story seems complex and interesting enough for me to overlook what wasn't the best beginning. I'm looking forward to reading more.
