Upon reading the excerpt of Little Thieves, I was very excited to continue reading the novel. The premise of the book sounded very interesting and I love reading fairy tales and their retellings. I was a fan of how the author started off the novel (by revealing that Vanja is the adopted goddaughter of Death and Fortune), because this really intrigued me and made me want to continue reading. I was also impressed by the world the author built in the novel; it really makes me want to keep reading and I cannot wait to see what happens to Vanja as she tries to break her curse. The cover of this novel is also very beautiful and detailed!
