I enjoyed The Merciful Crow but it wasn't amazing. The first impression of this book has me in all sorts of different feelings. I was absorbed right from the beginning and wanting to know what happens next. The Merciful Crow had an interesting world but this one seems so much more intricate. I cannot wait to continue and see where this book leads!
