Fairytale retellings are a very popular genre in YA right now so I wasn't sure if this would be good or just someone jumping on the bandwagon. Personally, I love retellings that don't completely copy the original tale, but instead weave it into something that it completely new and unique. From what I've seen so far, that is exactly what this story is.
