This cover is stunning and is initially what drew me in, along with an interesting title. I love my fairytale retellings, and in this one we get one of my favorite tropes, the anti-hero! Though flawed, you still find yourself rooting for Vanja! The prose is beautiful and paints a vivid picture of this world our anti-hero lives in. I am very excited to see where this story takes Vanja.
