I love fairytale retellings and this one promises to be exceptional. Margaret Owen's prose is gorgeous and her worldbuilding is so lush and mesmerizing that I feel as though I have been transported to another time and place. Vanja is a fierce, complicated protagonist and I love her already. What plot twists will the cards of fate and fortune reveal next?
