I am loving these YA fairy tale/fantasy books lately! Vanja, the thirteenth daughter of a thirteenth daughter, has been given to Death and/or Fortune at 4 years old, due to being seen as an ill omen and bad luck by her mother. Instead of taking her life, the two God's become her godmothers. Fast forward 10+ years and Vanja is an infamous thief, disguising herself with magic and charms to outwit the wealthiest families. Very good start to this story, can't wait to see more!
