I love the cover. Its beautiful and a little eerie, haunting. It perfectly matches the atmosphere in the preface where we first meet our heroine, Fate, and Death. But as wonderful as the atmosphere is, it was Vanja I fell in love with.
Right away its obvious that Vanja is clever and that she has a bit of a vendetta. But she's not afraid to have a little fun along the way to achieving her goals. I CANNOT wait to read more of her story. And the ending to chapter one is the perfect hook to leave me hungry for me.
