Reading the first chapter, I was loving the meticulous planning and scheming of the main character and I have to say the cover art is absolutely gorgeous. From this sneak peek and what I've already read by Margaret Owens (The Merciful Crows series is a must read for fantasy lovers), her use of vivid imagery and peculiar description makes all her writing worth checking out. I'm not sure what direction the story's going in but I think that makes it all the more exciting.
