I was drawn in by the cover. I love the dark fantasy quality and the connections it seems to imply between the characters shown. The initial chapters are intriguing! I love the idea of Death and Fortune taking care of a young girl and creating a strange little found family. Plus Vanja seems like she’s grown up very well and I can’t wait to see how her story turns out.
