I love anything that is a fairytale, but make it a dark fairytale and I am sold! I love the whimsical, yet ominous beginning of this book. It draws you in with the prologue making you wonder about Death and Fortune and their connection to Vanja - I'm so curious and I want more! Then the abrupt change to Vanja living as a princess is so fascinating and I can't wait to see what happens! You can definitely tell what a creative writer Margaret Owens is and that story will be spectacular!
