Dark fairy tale with a snarky anti-heroine

A powerhouse of a prologue that sets up our story with a punch. Then we enter Chapter 1 and get the story from Vanya's perspective, complete with her rebellious attitude and snark. She's definitely not a "good guy," but we can't help but root for her anyway. I can't wait to see where this dark fairy tale goes!
