What I liked about the book is that it shows that Vanja Schmidt is not the type of person that follows through with what she agreed to. You think she is a bad person, but you also feel bad for her because if she didn't flee she would
have to live a life of servitude. Later on she pretends to be a royal to rob the nobles, but she gets caught by a god. I can't wait to find out how she will right her wrong, or if she will try and trick the god.
