Beautiful, clever, and intriguing, I can't wait to read more!

I think that this book might have been made for me. Fairytales, fantasy, fortune, fate, and fickle facades? Sign me up! Upon reading the summary for this book I was intrigued and upon reading the first impression, I was hooked! The writing was beautiful and the excerpt ended at the perfect spot because I cannot wait to read more and see where Vanja's story goes!

I am really intrigued by Vanja's character---having Fortune and Death for her godmothers, impersonating a princess, robbing nobles blind, let's just say that I'm impressed. I cannot wait to see what Vanja's story has in store and I am really interested in seeing how Vanja transformed from the little girl in the prologue into a skilled thief and mistress of impersonation who we meet in the first chapter.

And the cover is absolutely gorgeous! I love how it captures Vanja, Fortune, and Death and it definitely gives me (dark) fairytale vibes, which I love!
