First of all, look at that cover! If I judged books soley on covers, I would give this book five stars :). Vanja is the goddaughter of Death and Fortune- and she has a debt to pay them that requires her to use her spirit and cunning tactics. My favorite part of this sneak peak was the chance to see Vanja as she meets Death and Fortune, as well as the beginning of her latest adventure when she is older. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to Vanja and what happens in this story!
