This is off to such a great start! Of course, this whimsical rich-colored cover puts you in the mindset of dramatic high fantasy and drew me in with just that first impression, but the writing is actually much funnier than I expected. I'm loving this morally gray and mischievous Vanja so far and I can't wait to dive deeper into a character that's been raised by Death and Fortune. So many ways this could go!
