I was hooked right off the bat on this one! I am a sucker for a fairy tale retelling and I can tell this one is going to take the cake. The prose is gorgeous and enchanting and you are immediately drawn to the main character. You can tell she is going to be a fearsome heiroine. This has the perfect mix of dark underlyings from the Grimm side and imaginative nuances from the author and the cover represents this duality as well.
