I actually felt my heart begin to beat faster when I read the opening of Little Thieves. I felt as if I were immediately whisked away into a dreamy fantasy world where good and evil, and things in between would be vying for power.
When I was introduced to Vanja as a 'prinzessin' I could tell straightaway that she had an intensity and fearlessness that would inevitably take her on a transcendent journey. I knew this was a journey I would absolutely have to be a part of.
