I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Interesting premise of a book where a woman, Lauren, gives birth to twins. Feeling overwhelmed with the new responsibilities, everyone says she is exhausted when she starts seeing an old woman trying to steal her babies. Things escalate and soon she is seeing the woman everywhere and trying to get the police to help. One day she goes to the park and is sure she isn’t bringing her babies home. It doesn’t help that no one seems to believe there is anything going on.
This had a real fairy tale vibe to it and was just creepy! I did think there was a little too much story about the detective working on the case. Too many side stories.
