Interesting concept
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5– Little Darlings by Melanie Golding
•
Lauren has given birth to identical twins. But while in the maternity wing, someone tries to switch her twins for theirs. Though she saves her boys then, the switch eventually happens.
•
What I loved: the premise was neat. I liked how I had never read anything like it. I also thought the questioning of a new mother was well written. I’m not a mother, but new moms are constantly brushed off and said to be overbearing. But who else would know their child(ren) better than their mother?
•
What I didn’t: The time the little guys were switched felt rushed. It took so long to get there. Also, the writing was good but the length of some of the paragraphs were a bit much. They were full of descriptions that honestly slowed the plot a bit.
