Holy. Crap. Y’all. This book was MINDBLOWING. I loved every second of it! There’s faerie and folk-lore, mixed with mental illness, mystery, and a crime thriller. A mother battling post-partum depression in the hospital with her twins, comes face to face with a late night creepy mother with her own set of twins. But something isn't right... The babies make weird noises that sound like another language and when out MC tries to make a connection with the other family, the other woman starts screaming about how they should be hers. MC traps herself inside a bathroom to hide herself and her children to protect them and then it only gets worse. It came together so well and concluded in a way that left me very satisfied and impressed. I can’t wait to see what else Melanie Golding has in store for us in the future!
