Little Darlings was such a chilling atmospheric book. The creepy suspenseful feeling started on page 1 and did not stop! It would be a perfect October read! The story reminded me of a Grimms fairytale. I was fully engaged with Lauren's character. Lauren gives birth to identical twin boys and is naturally exhausted. Is she seeing and hearing things that are real or does she just need sleep? This book will keep you guessing right along withLauren. Her character was very relatable to me, being a mother myself. I also liked reading Jo's character. She was the detective on the case. I would love to see another book with her as a lead. The writing was wonderful, definitely won't be my last Melanie Golding book.
