Creepy start to this thriller about twins
After reading the first 31 pages, I can say that I'm very curious how this story will develop!
Poor Lauren has just given birth to twins (which is described in a way that made me a little woozy, to be honest) and is spending her first sleep-deprived night with them in the hospital. She is sure that she has a conversation with a mysterious woman who wanted to swap babies with her, but come morning she is told that no one was there.
What does it mean?? Was she just dreaming, or is there any truth to her memories? And what does it all have to do with the woman about to walk into the lake with her babies in the prologue? My first impression is that this is a creepy, goosebump-inducing novel that I want to read more of!
