I started this book earlier today and I could not put it down as I wanted to know what was going to happen to Lauren, Riley, Morgan and Patrick. To hear about some of the different folklore surrounding changelings was interesting and this book kept me intrigured. Harper does a great job looking into the case to try and help Lauren figure out what is going on and I admire the dedication that was put into making these characters seems like they are really struggling and dealing with the issues.
Lauren is scared to leave her house after having the boys because of the creepy person she saw at the hospital who said she would take them if Lauren left them alone. You can feel the lonliness that Lauren feels when things start to go south with Patrick and his helping.
