I love the creepy, anxiety-inducing vibe this story emits. The explicit descriptions of the extreme mental and physical suffering the character endured giving birth to twins are enough to give me nightmares forever. In fact, Lauren’s entire experience with motherhood sounds like nothing but complete torture and only likely to get worse!
