This would've been a much more engrossing read if it hadn't felt dragging until the moment Lauren met the old woman at the end. The writing failed to pull me in or keep me in suspense through Lauren giving birth and the various events following afterwards. The only thing remotely interesting is the potential to explore the rich mythology of changelings.
