The synopsis of this sounded interesting, if not a little unusual, but I found the first few chapters a little drawn out and overly descriptive. From the synopsis, it sounded like the hospital portion of the novel would be pretty short, but the entire first look is set in the hospital. I found myself wishing it would move on and wondering why we needed a detailed description of the birthing of the children. Obviously, this might not be a problem as the book continues on, but it made me weary and not interested in reading on.
