There was a little more medical detail here than I really need, but this has a good creepy fairytale tone to it so far, and that opening, with the mom in a threatening position with two babies certainly compels you to read more. I like the cover, it doesn’t give away much about the plot, but it makes it very clear that this has an ominous feel.
