Kind of Slow, Very Descriptive
Reading the synopsis, the story sounds pretty intriguing. It has that creepy, mysterious horror feel going which is a genre I like. I am not really into sci-fi and having that mixed with this kind of story line kind of throws me off a bit but I was intrigued.
After reading the first look however, I noticed the author is very descriptive with the environment, what the character is feeling and thinking which is usually nice to have, but I feel it is a little overboard with things that really don't seem important to the story.
I actually got bored reading it and after finishing, while it did bring moments of suspense as I got deeper, it's just not really grasping me. I don't think I can get into the story. It may be a good one for others though!
