Bravo Melanie, this reads like a seasoned writer not a debut novel! Fans of Neil Gaiman's American Gods and The Ocean at the End of the Lane will love this author! Little Darlings pulls you right into the moment, you feel everything: the sleep deprivation, the pain, the frustration of just being a feeding machine.for twins.it is all spot on for the first 48 hours. My two oldest are fourteen months apart, and meeting the needs of two babies is overwhelming much like the author poured onto the page. The horror of a crazy woman trying to steal her babies made me go kiss each of my children and thank the gods I never had to go through it. I cannot wait to read more from this author, she is a master of suspense! I hated her husband's character he seems extremely selfish, I hope he is more supportive as the book progresses
