Creepy tale that makes you want to keep reading

This book had a confusing start, but it really drew me in. Reading about child birth as a woman of child birthing age was a bit terrifying, but the story kept me interested. I'm very curious to know what happens to Lauren and her babies, and who that creepy woman was!
