I really tried to finish this book but was so confused after 50 pages, I decided to DNF it.
I liked the blurb and I think the timeline/POV would have been easier to follow if Tatum's letter(s) to Mateo were formatted as a letter.
I liked the art pieces discussed in the book. I also liked Tatum. I think the writing is good but I was so confused and frustrated trying to figure out the timeline.
The cover, colors, font and title are all very eye-catching. I also think the character names are easy to remember. The blurb on the back of the ARC made me want to read the story and find out what Tatum has to say to Mateo. I also wanted to know how she left him and changed her life.
I was going to skip to the last chapter but it won't make sense to me since I did not finish past 50 pages. I will be interested in reading others' reviews of Like Happiness by Ursula Villarreal-Moura.
