This first look had a very literary feel to it, and I mean that in the best way possible. It drew me in immediately, and I didn't even realize when I made it to the end. The author does a good job of making you feel like you're in the story with Tatum, and thus you find yourself experiencing an echo of her emotions as well, which I thought was beautifully done.
