Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a feel from this book by reading the short excerpt. I like the creative writing style of telling the past part of the story in the form of a letter so I’m hopeful that it becomes more interesting and we learn more about the current story taking place in Chili. But so far, the excerpt was just pretty boring and didn’t give me any sense of where the book is going.
