I loved in reading the first part of the first look that the book is in a modified second person where it is addressed to the ex boyfriend. Second person is not a technique frequently deployed and it felt so well used in this instance. I appreciate the way this book shows both the dynamics of a relationship like this, but also the life that comes after.
