I like the way this one opens up with a letter that the main character is writing to an “old friend” I also like the then and now timeline of the story and I’m eager to find out in what capacity she knew this man who has now been accused of something terrible by another young woman.
The cover is eye catching with the city background but divided into two halves with the city in between. To me it signifies the before and after timeline of meeting this author that she is writing the letters to now
